Aromatic red cedar boxes by Native Designs are handmade and accentuated with brass finished hardware.
Available in a variety of styles and sizes for your feathers, gourds, fans and other items.
Each is lined with felt including those with a tray. The aromatic cedar comes from Western Oklahoma. Each box is mitered together to give a professional look. The joints are sanded smooth and the boxes are finished with a catalyzed lacquer.
Edward Yellowfish is a full blood Native American belonging to the Comanche and Otoe Tribes of Oklahoma. Ed is an accomplished cabinetmaker with years of experience in the woodworking industry. He currently works full time in the picture framing industry as a production manager for an arts and crafts chain operated in Oklahoma City. Edward also designs picture frames and framed art.
Ed is married to Sydna Yellowfish and they have three sons. They travel some, as their schedules permit, to many of the Native American arts and crafts shows in the United States where he sells his wood crafts retail. Ed and his family have a rich Native American legacy that has been handed down by the family elders. They are very active in participating in Native American dancing and singing events in Oklahoma. Ed is very proud of his heritage and loves his Indian way of life.
